Senior (2021):

Cox was a vital member of the Emory University cross country team in 2021… Earned All-Region recognition for the second time after finishing tenth at the NCAA South Regional Championships with a time of 25:45… Finished third for the Eagles at the NCAA DIII Championships crossing the finish line in a new personal best time of 25:07… Competed in seven total meets in 2021… Finished 18^th out of 78 runners at the UAA Championships with a time of 26:22… Finished third among the Emory contingent at the Converse Kickoff (26:10) and Louisville Sports Commission Classic (25:17)… Was named a 2021 USTFCCCA Academic All-American.

Junior (2019):
Emerged as a key contributor ... Scored in six of the seven meets he saw action in ... Raced to all-region honors after crossing the finishing seventh overall out of 239 runners (third on the team) with a personal-best 8K time of 25:17 at the NCAA South/Southeast Championships ... Team's No. 2 finisher and 86th in the 280-runner field at the NCAA D-III Championships after posting a time of 25:22 which represented his second-fastest mark ... Third among the Emory pack and 54th out of 253 contestants at the Louisville Classic after turning in an 8K effort of 25:27 ... Scored for the Eagles as their No. 3 finisher at the UAA Championships (25:35). 

Sophomore (2018):
Took part in four meets ... Named the UAA Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after placing first on the team and 27th out of 162 runners with a personal-best 8K time of 26:18 at the Bobcat Invitational ... Scored for the Eagles as their No. 4 finisher at the Berry Invitational with his 8K time of 27:13 slotting him in the No. 48 spot out of 213 entries ... Also competed at the Montevallo Falcon Classic (27:26) and the Watermelon Run (28:40).

Freshman (2017):
Competed in four events ... Top 8K time of 27:52 at the JSU Foothills Invitational placed 40th overall out of 183 runners ... Turned in a mark of 28:00 at the Furman Classic ... Also raced at the Georgia DIII Invitational and the North Georgia Invitational.

High School:
Competed in cross country and track and field while at Loomis Chaffee High School, earning a total of six letters in the process ... Was coached by Sally Knight ... Captain of both the cross country and track and field teams his senior year ... Top 5k time was a 16:33 ... Registered a 9:22 in the 3k, which ranked as the 10th-best mark in school history ... Earned three Coaches Award, two in cross country and one in trakc ... Helped his teams to a total of six Founders League championships, three in cross country and three in track and field ...
