Freshman (2022): 

• Competed in five events this season for Emory
• Registered a season-best 25:57 at the Alexander Asics Invitational taking 17th out of 130
• Placed 23rd out of 99 runners at the Julius Johnson Invitational (27:26)
• Finished with a time of 26:00 at the UAB Classic to place 46th of 176
• Took 69th at the UAA Championships with a time of 27:32

Prior to Emory:

Competed on the West Windsor-Plainsboro High School cross country and track teams… Served as the captain of the cross country and track & field teams… 2021-22 MVP… 2019-20 Most Improved… Fifth at Manhattan Eastern Championships… 2019-22 National Meet Qualifier… Fourth at Meet of Champions… Two-time Group 3 state champion… Personal best time of 4:12 in the 1600m and 9:13 in the 3200m.

Personal:

Son of Tina and Sanjay Makker… Plans to major in Finance.
