Competed in four meets… Recorded his season-best time of 26:00 at the Louisville Sports Commission Classic and placed 71st of 107 runners… Followed that up with a 69th place finish out of 237 competitors at the UAB Classic (26:32)… Kicked off the season running a 26:06 at the 7200m Emory vs. Oglethorpe Dual Meet… Also competed in the Converse Kickoff (26:49) where he finished in 30th… Was named to the UAA All-Academic Team.

Prior to Emory:

Participated in track & field at Oxford High School, serving as a team captain from 2018-20...All-State performer in the 4x400 at 2019 indoor championships...2x State Qualifier...Academic All-State for Cross Country in 2020...Oxford HS Scholar Athlete Award...National Honor Society President...Finished third in his class of 468...Also participated in soccer, cross country and basketball at Oxford.

Personal:

Son of Elizabeth and Craig...Born on June 25...Father, Craig, played soccer at Cornerstone University.

"I chose Emory for its close proximity to Atlanta, the track and cross country programs, good endowment and academics. I also thought the campus looked great and the weather was nice."
