Junior Megan Light enjoyed a big weekend in helping the No. 23 Emory softball team to four wins.

Light blasted the opposing pitching staffs of Maryville and Agnes Scott, hitting .615 with eight hits in 13 trips to the plate.   She blasted a pair of homers, socked two doubles and drove in 11 of the team's 24 RBIs over the weekend.  She hit safely in all four contests and came through with three multi-hit performances. 

In an 8-0 triumph over Agnes Scott on Saturday, Light hit a pair of homers en route to chalking up a 3-for-3 showing at the plate along with 5 RBIs.  Megan now has 18 round trippers in her career, good for the No. 2 spot on the school's all-time list.
