Sophomore shortstop Cassie Baca turned in a big weekend in helping the Emory softball team to a 4-0 mark at the William Peace Triangle Classic.

Baca hit .571, collecting eight hits in 14 trips to the plate.  She hit safely in all four contests and picked up multiple safeties in three outings.  She scored four runs and totaled four RBIs as the Eagles upped their record to 9-3.

One of her performances was a 3-for-3 effort at the plate that saw her knock in the team's final run in a 4-0 decision over North Carolina Wesleyan.  Later in the Classic, she socked a three-run homer to highlight a seven-run second inning in an eventual 8-1 triumph over Piedmont College.
