Spizizen registered an ERA of 0.64 over 11 innings of work, allowing just one run and nine hits. She fanned a total of 19 batters and issued just one walk en route to boosting her record to 13-4.

Spizizen crafted a complete-game, five-hit shutout in the series opener, leading the squad to a 2-0 victory. She struck out a season-high 14 batters, tying the fourth-highest single-game mark in school history. She then came away with the win in the final contest of the weekend, going the first four innings and surrendering run run and four hits, while fanning five, in the five-inning 10-1 triumph.
