Sami Feller

Junior outfielder Sami Feller helped the Emory softball team to a runner-up finish at the NCAA D-III Championships.

Feller was one of three Eagles to earn a berths on the All-Championships Team, hitting .353 during the team's five-game run. She collected a team-high tying six hits in 17 at-bats, scored two runs and added one RBI.

In a come-from-behind 7-5 victory over Randolph-Macon, Sami went 3-for-4 at the plate with one RBI, that coming in the fifth inning on a single that scored Cassie Baca, narrowing the team's deficit to 5-4 after trailing at one point by a 4-0 margin. Later on in the Championships, Feller raced around from first base and scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth after Greta Wilker socked a walk-off double in a 3-2 decision over Eastern Connecticut State. 

Feller ended the year first on the team in hitting with a .373 mark, finishing third on the team in hits (59) and runs scored.
