Sophomore pitcher Madison Schaefer collected two of the Eagles' four wins at the Emory Softball Invitational.

In the final game of the Invitational, Schaefer tossed a complete-game four-hitter, striking out five and issuing just one walk in a 2-1 decision over Emory and Henry. For Schaefer, who gave up an unearned run, it represented her first career seven-inning victory. Earlier in the Invitational, Schaefer drew the starting assignment in the circle and tossed five innings, giving up three runs and fanning three, in a 5-3 verdict over the University of Rochester.

On the year, Madison has a 3-1 won-lost record with an ERA of 2.72 over 18 innings of work.
