Krista Colussi helped the Emory softball team to a split of a doubleheader against Piedmont on Apr. 27.

In an opening-game 3-0 victory, Colussi went two-for-three at the plate and drove in two runs. She staked the Eagles to a 1-0 lead when her two-out single in the bottom of the third plated Natalie Arreguin. In the sixth, she hit a solo homer, her first round tripper of the campaign, providing the Eagles with a 2-0 advantage.

So far this year, Krista is third on the team in hitting with a .429 mark (12-for-28).
