Ashley Oldshue

Sophomore Ashley Oldshue paced the team in scoring and tied for the rebounding lead as the Emory women's basketball team split a pair of games at the Cancer Awareness Tournament in Demorest, Georgia.

Oldshue averaged 19.5 points and 8.0 boards in contests against Huntingdon College and Piedmont College.  Oldshue, who shot 58.3 percent from the floor (14 of 24) over the two contests, paced the team in scoring in both outings, including a game-high 20-point afternoon in an 86-33 victory over Huntingdon.  The following day, Oldshue topped all players with 19 points, hitting eight-of-10 field goal attempts and three free throws, while tying teammate Michelle Bevan for game honors with nine caroms in a 70-67 setback to host Piedmont College.

Oldshue has recorded double-figure scoring in nine of the Eagles' opening 10 games and stands as the team leader in scoring (15.9 ppg), rebounding (7.8 rpg) and field goal percentage (.522, 59 of 113).
