Ashley Oldshue

Sophomore Ashley Oldshue ranked as the Emory women's basketball team's leading scorer and rebounder over a pair of contests.

Oldshue averaged 19.5 points and 8.0 rebounds as the Eagles split contests vs. Rhodes College and the University of Rochester.  In addition, she shot a team-high 73.3 percent (11 of 15) from the floor and converted all 16 of her free throw attempts.

Oldshue totaled a team-high 23 points and paced the squad with nine rebounds in an 84-75 setback at No. 22-ranked Rochester in the UAA opener for both squads.  She was successful on seven of her 11 field goal tries and drained all eight opportunities from the charity stripe.  It was her 11th double-figure scoring performance of the season and third of 20 or more points.  Earlier in the week she finished second on the club with 16 points and seven boards in a 77-48 triumph over Rhodes College.
Through 12 games, Oldsue tops the squad in scoring (16.5 ppg), rebounds (7.8 rpg) and field goal percentage (.547).
