Junior Ashley Oldshue topped the team in scoring and was second in rebounding as the Emory women's basketball team split a pair of home games.

Oldshue averaged 15.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in outings against NYU and Brandeis. She was successful on 52.6 percent (10-19) of her field goal attempts and converted all 10 of her free throw opportunities.

In a 63-58 setback to the Violets of NYU, Oldshue scored all of her team-high 17 points over the final two quarters, ending the game six-of-nine from the floor and four-of-four from the charity stripe. She followed that performance with her seventh double-double of the season, a team-high tying 14-point, 10-rebound afternoon in a 57-50 triumph over Brandeis that raised Emory's overall record to 13-11, 7-6 in the league.

Oldshue has appeared in 22 games this year and leads the team in both scoring (15.6 ppg) and rebounding (8.6). In addition, she tops the UAA in field goal percentage (.549).
