Forty points from the Eagles' bench including a career-high 20-point effort from junior Blair Ripley helped the No. 22/25 ranked Emory University women's basketball team to a 24-point victory over Case Western Reserve University Sunday afternoon in Atlanta.

Ripley was one of three Eagles in double figures as Emory won its ninth consecutive contest, the longest winning streak during Misha Jackson's run as head coach. Now 14-2 on the year, the Eagles improved to 5-0 in the University Athletic Association action, the best league start in program history and maintained their one-game lead in the conference standings. CWRU has now dropped two straight and fall to 8-8 overall and 3-2 in the UAA.

Sophomore Anna Arato and junior Molly Weiss were feeling it from long distance in the win as the duo combined for 26 points with 24 coming from three point land. Arato was one shy of her career-best, totaling 14 points on a personal-best four made three pointers while Weiss followed up her career night from Friday with four more converted from long distance, finishing with 12 points off the bench.

Arato and Weiss combined for eight of the team's successful 10 three-pointers in the game, a mark that tied a season-best output. For the game, Emory shot 10-for-33 from behind the arc and 41.9% from the field at 31-for-74.

Ripley narrowly missed out on another double-double as she corralled a game-high nine rebounds. Four other Eagles hauled in at least five rebounds with senior Erin Lindahl tallying nine boards to go along with nine points. Emory as a team outrebounded the Spartans, 47-34. Senior Allison Chernow produced seven points and knocked down Emory's lone free attempts in the game, pushing her consecutive free throw streak to 27.

Emory travels north this week to face Chicago and WashU in the first of back-to-back weekends against the Maroons and Bears. Tipoff in Chicago Friday evening is slated for 7:00 PM EST.
