Emory Women's Golf Holds Successful Fundraiser

The Emory women's golf program recently held a successful fundraiser at the renowned East Lake Country Club, home of the TOUR Championship, the culminating event of the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedEx Cup.

Five LPGA professionals attended the event, with each pro being paired with one amateur to create a team.  Each team played 18 holes in a best-ball format.

The five pros taking part were Angela Stanford, Kristy McPherson, Kendall Dye, Kris Tamulis, and Kim Kaufman, while Rich Mendola, David Roemer, Jack Futcher, Sach Prasad and Jason Zimmerman represented the amateur contingent.

Rich Mendola (Head Emory IT) took home 1st prize after he and Angela Stanford combined to shoot -6.

Jack Futcher captured second place, finishing at -3 after being paired with Kim Kaufman.

Emory alum David Roemer placed third and he was paired with Kendall Dye, with the duo finishing at -1.

1 Major champion (Angela Stanford, 2018 Evian Championship)
