Freshman Mariana Chong was the top performer for the Emory women's golf team at the Golfweek Invitational. The 54-hole tournament was played on the 5.800-yard, par-72 El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn Resort in Howie-in-the Hills, Florida.
Chong led Emory and tied for seventh overall out of 40 players with a score of 238 (79-80-79). She either shot or tied for the squad's best round over two of the three days of competition.
