Due to weather delays on day one, the Emory University women's golf team was only able to finish one of its five matches against NYU in the first round of the UAA Championships. The conclusion of the Eagles first round match is scheduled to take place first thing Sunday morning.

Freshman Heejo Hyun was the only Eagle to finish her match as she defeated the Violet's Madison Phung after being 7-up with six holes to play. Freshman Sharon Mun, freshman Ellen Dong, sophomore Mariana Chong and sophomore Irene Wang all will complete their matches against their NYU counterparts tomorrow morning barring further weather delay.

The winner of Emory-NYU will advance to play Carnegie Mellon in the UAA final. The Tartans earned their trip to the final by virtue of their 4-1 victory over WashU. The final will commence at the conclusion of Emory and NYU's match in the morning.
