The Emory University women's golf team dominated the field at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, posting their fifth tournament victory of the 2021-2022 season. The three day, 54-hole tournament was played on the 5,600-yard, par-72 Indian Mound Course at the Jekyll Island Golf Club.

The No. 2 ranked Eagles registered a score of 866 (289-289-288) over the 54-hole tournament surpassing the teams previous three round record by 33 strokes. This also marks the Eagles largest ever margin of victory at a tournament as they held a 29-stroke lead over second place No. 9 ranked University of Redlands at tournament's end. The Eagles finished in first in the field of 24 teams, 13 of whom are ranked in the top 25 in the latest WGCA Top 25 Poll.

For the third time in the 2021-2022 season, the Eagles finished the tournament with three players in the top 10. Freshman Sharon Mun (69-72-70) led the Eagles throughout the tournament, finishing with a three-round score of 211 to finish the tournament in second place. Mun's score of 211 now sits as the best three-round score by any individual in program history. Freshmen Ellen Dong (73-72-72) and Heejo Hyun (76-72-71) rounded out the Eagles top 10 performers as they finished in seventh and ninth, respectively. Sophomore Irene Wang posted a solid performance posting a 224 (76-73-75) to finish tied for 17th. Sophomore Mariana Chong matched Wang as she also carded a 224 (71-76-77) with her first-round score of 271 marking a new personal best single round score. Competing as an individual, sophomore Jessica Lan finished with a two-round score of 166 (83-83).

The Eagles will take a brief hiatus before returning to the greens on April 11 and 12th for the BSC Panthers Classic in Birmingham, AL.
