Freshman (2021-22):

An invaluable member of the 2021-22 National Championship winning women’s golf team, Mun left an indelible mark on the Emory history books… Led the team with an average of 73.2 strokes per round over the course of 20 rounds played… One of three Emory golfers to play in each of Emory’s nine tournaments… Finished in the top 12 at each of the tournament she participated in and led the Eagles in scoring in three of them… Became the first golfer in program history to be named the WGCA National Freshman of the Year… Earned a spot on the All-American First Team… All-Region Member… All-UAA First Team… At the NCAA Championships, Mun finished tied for 11th overall and second for the Eagles after posting a score of 294 (73-73-73-75) to help Emory secure their first ever national title… Similarly, Mun played a pivotal role in helping the Eagles win their first ever UAA Championship winning in the three spot against Carnegie Mellon in 19 holes in the match play contest… Won her first ever individual tournament at the Golfweek Invitational where she scored a 219 (77-69-73) to pace the field… Scored a 69 in the second round of the Golfweek Invitational which marked the lowest single round score of her career… Competing at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, Mun carded a 211 (69-72-70) to finish in second place overall and help the Eagles secure their largest margin of victory and best team three round score in program history… Mun’s score of 211 at the Jekyll Island Collegiate is the best three-round score by an individual in program history… Led the Eagles in scoring at the Williams College Championship where she registered a 152 (76-76) which saw her tie for tenth overall… Logged a third place overall finish at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational with a 145 (75-70) to help the Eagles earn their first tournament win in program history… Also competed at the MCC Invitational (145, T-10th), Savannah Invitational (150, T-12th) and the BSC Panthers Classic (148, 11th)… Named to the WGCA Scholar All-American team.
