Sophomore (2021-22):

In her first full season with the program, Wang proved to be a core piece of the Eagles national Championship winning roster… Finished third on the team with an average of 74.2 strokes per round in 18 rounds played as she was one of the most consistent players on the team… Was named the inaugural UAA Sophomore Rookie of the Year… Earned an All-American Honorable Mention nod… Selected to be on the All-Region Team… All-UAA Second Team… Finished in the top ten in three of the tournaments she participated in… At the NCAA Championships, Wang finished in third amongst the Emory contingent and tied for 17th overall as her score of 298 (72-79-74-73) helped lead the Eagles to their first ever national title… Competing at the MCC Invitational, Wang shot a 67 in the first round which is the lowest scoring round by an Eagle in program history and helped her to finish tied for seventh overall… In the Eagles first tournament of the season at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational, Wang shot a 144 (72-72) to help her win her first ever collegiate tournament as well as helping the Eagles land their first ever team win at a tournament… Wang was vital in the Eagles winning their first ever UAA Championship as she competed in the two hole and won 2 & 1 over Carnegie Mellon to help Emory earn the 3-2 victory in the match play contest… Finished tied for ninth at the Savannah Invitational where her score of 149 (74-75) saw her tie for second amongst the Emory contingent… Also competed at the Golfweek Invitational (228, T-21st), Jekyll Island Collegiate (224, T-17th) and the BSC Panthers Classic (149, T-11th)… Named to the WGCA Scholar All-American Team… Was also named to the 2022 UAA Spring All-Academic Team.
