With two rounds of competition complete, the Emory University women's golf team stands in a three-way tie for fourth place in the 29-team field as action continued Wednesday in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

A tournament-best 19-over par helped George Fox University move into the top spot on the leaderboard with a two-day score of 629 while a pair of California schools occupy the second and third spots with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in second at 634 and Pomona-Pitzer following four strokes back. A trio of UAA programs stand one stroke back of the Saghens as Emory, WashU and Carnegie Mellon all stand at 639 after round two.

Sophomore Sharon Mun had a team-best score on Wednesday, firing a three-over 76 as she moved into a tie for 8th individually. Tuesday's leader Ellen Dong was nine-over (82) on Wednesday as she slipped into a tie for 20th. Junior Irene Wang and freshman Cindy Wang each carded an 83 while fellow freshman Katie Park turned in a score of 86 over her 18 holes.

The NCAA Championships will continue Thursday morning with round three. At the end of the day, tournament field will shrink to the top 15 programs heading into the fourth and final round.
