Serving as assistant coach for the Emory women's golf team is Christel Boeljon.  Boeljon is in her third season with the program.

A native of The Netherlands, Christel played collegiate golf at Purdue University. While at Purdue, she was Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2006 and NCAA Division I Women’s Golf National Championship runner up in 2007. Also in 2007, she was one of four nominees for the Honda Sports Award, which recognizes the best Division I collegiate female golfers. She was a three-time NGCA All American and won two individual tournament titles.

Christel played professional golf on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour (LPGA). While on the LET, she had 5 international wins and was a member of the victorious European Solheim Cup Team in 2011. On the LPGA tour, Christel played in over 100 events around the world and competed in more than 20 major championships. Her best finish was second place at the Shoprite LPGA Classic in 2015.
