Perez was limited to five games during her senior season, making one start. 

Junior (2009):

During her second season on the team, Perez made 15 starts for the Emory defense, playing in 16 total games.  She was a key part of an Emory backfield that recorded a 1.14 goals against average, while helping the Eagles hold a 168-93 edge in shots on goal and record five shutouts.  Perez took four shots during the season, two of which were on goal.

Sophomore (2008):

Perez played in 15 games for the Eagles during her first year on the team, making three starts for the defense.  She contributed to an Emory backfield that helped the Eagles outshoot opponents 375-135, and held opposing teams to a .0553 goals-against average, the 23rd-lowest in Division III.  Perez recorded her first assist as an Eagle during Emory's 4-1 win over UAA-rival New York University on November 2nd.

Prior to Emory:

Transferred from Virginia Tech, where she played one season on the club soccer team... Played for four seasons on the Battlefield High School soccer team, where she served as the squad's captain from 2006-07... Earned all-state honors in 2007, all-region honors in 2005 and 2007, and all-district honors from 2004-07... Coached by Wes Homan in high school... Also played for the PWSI Cardinals club team, where she was coached by Steve Smith... Helped the squad to a state championship in 2006.
