All-University Athletic Association Honorable Mention…Made all 20 starts for the Eagles as a senior, registering career-highs in games and minutes played, goals-against average, saves and wins…Finished her career tied for fourth in shutouts (12), fifth in saves per game (2.83) and sixth in both wins (26) and saves (133)…Finished the year ranked second in the UAA in saves, saves percentage and wins…Made a career-high 13 saves against top-ranked Washington on September 29th…Made 19 saves across two NCAA tournament games including 11 stops in a shutout against Penn State-Berks in the first round.
Junior (2017):
CoSIDA Academic All-District selection…Played in 12 games, making 11 starts…Recorded a 5-4-1 record with 29 saves and four shutouts…Posted back-to-back shutouts in her first two starts of the season against Birmingham-Southern (9/17) and Sewanee (9/20)…Made a combined seven saves in consecutive shutouts against #22 Brandeis University (10/15) and Roanoke College (10/21)…Registered a season-high six saves against UAA foes NYU (10/13) and Case Western Reserve (10/29)…Was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on October 23rd.
Sophomore (2016):
Staffin made 13 starts between the posts as a sophomore, finishing with a 7-3-3 record to go along with a 0.95 goals-against average, 30 saves and four shutouts…Made her first career start in the season opener against Averett University, playing 72:17 clean minutes to record her first collegiate victory…Played all 90 minutes in Emory’s 3-0 win over the University of Redlands on September 5th to record her first career shutout…Registered a career-high eight saves against Carnegie Mellon on October 16th.
Freshman (2015):
She appeared in two games off the bench for the Eagles during her freshman season. Made her collegiate debut on September 16th, playing 11:05 minutes in Emory’s 4-0 win over LaGrange College. She made her second appearance on September 25th, playing 16:06 in the win over Brooklyn College. Staffin did not have to make a save in either outing.
