Prior to Emory:

Transferred from NCAA Division I Stony Brook University, where she swam on the team for  one season... Was the team's top swimmer in the 50-yard freestyle (23.75 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (52.46 seconds)... Attended Dover High School, but swam for Our Lady of Lourdes High School... Named all-league, all-section and all-state as a senior... Was named the Poughkeepsie Journal Swimmer of the Year... Qualified for the Junior Nationals and the U.S.S. Sectionals... Coached by Bill Brown in high school and by Chris Mance on her club team... Also participated in track and field in high school.

Born December 7, 1990... Graduated sixth in her high school class.
