Prior to Emory:

Swam for Mt. Tabor High School for four seasons, serving as the team captain her senior year... Was the NCHSAA 4-A State Champion in the 50 free in 2011... Was a High School All-American... USA Swimming All-American... Short Course and Long Course Junior Nationals Qualifier... Second place at the SC Junior Nationals in the 200 free Relay... Recorded times of 23.75 seconds in the 50 free and 51.08 seconds in the 100 free... Coached by Jamie Grimstead and Chris Bowker.
