Emory University junior Beatrice Rosen finished third in the Division III singles draw at the 2014 USTA/ ITA Small College National Championships last weekend.  Rosen, who entered the tournament as the fourth-seeded player, won her opening match of the tournament, 2-6, 7-6 (1), 6-1 over Rebecca Ho of Washington University (Mo.).  After falling to eventual draw champion Ashnaa Rao of Johns Hopkins University, 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals, she bounced back with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Kate Christensen of Vassar College in the third-place match.  With the 2-1 record during the tournament, Rosen improved to 8-2 in doubles play in the fall season.
