Freshman Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico went 2-0 in both first singles and first doubles as the Eagles defeated Point Loma and #3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps by 5-4 margins over the weekend. In the decisive match against CMS, Gonzalez-Rico closed out her match with three straight points to earn the 2-6, 7-6 (7-1), 6-4 win to give Emory the victory.
