The Emory University Women's Tennis team notched a pair of singles victories and a win at first doubles as the Eagles fell to Columbus State University, 6-3, Sunday afternoon at the Woodruff PE Center on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta.

Freshman Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico rallied to win at second singles after dropping the first set against Noa Davico and sophomore Emma Perelman earned the win at sixth singles in straight sets, both in tiebreakers. Gonzalez-Rico posted the 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory while Perelman closed out the match with the 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) decision.

In doubles action, Gonzalez-Rico paired with senior Bridget Harding to record their third straight win in the spring, topping CSU's Davico and Beatriz Lopez by a 9-7 margin. In the other doubles matches, Columbus State recorded matching 8-5 wins over Emory duos senior Anna Fuhr and freshman Stephanie Taylor on court two and junior Daniela Lopez and freshman Katie Chang on court three.

Emory returns to the courts this Thursday afternoon with a road match against Brenau University as the team tries to snap its current three match skid.
