Freshman Alexa Goetz helped the Eagles to a 2-0 record against Lehigh and #5 Carnegie Mellon in the final week of the tennis season. Goetz picked up a win at third singles (6-4, 6-1) vs. the Tartans before winning 6-1, 6-3 at second singles against the Mountain Hawks. In addition, Goetz teamed with classmate Katelyn Thomas for two wins at third doubles, posting wins of 8-3 vs. CMU and 8-5 vs. Lehigh. For the season, Goetz and Thomas went 9-0 while in singles play Goetz finished her rookie year tied for the team-lead with 15 victories (15-5).
