Ysabel Gonzalez-RicoWomen's Tennis Freshman Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico reached the ITA Oracle Cup Division III Singles and Doubles Championship at the Oracle Cup over the weekend. Gonzalez-Rico posted straight set wins in the quarter- and semi-finals before falling to Wesleyan's Eudice Chong in the singles title match. In doubles, Gonzalez-Rico and senior Bridget Harding had straight set wins in the QF and SF before losing to Wesleyan's Chong and Yu in the doubles final. Read More

Katarina SuWomen's Tennis Senior Katarina Su went 3-0 in singles and was 2-1 in doubles as the top-ranked Eagles went 2-1 over the weekend against three teams inside the ITA Top-25. Su won all three singles matches in straight sets and won a pair of matches at first doubles with teammate Bridget Harding. Su achieved two milestones over the weekend as she became the seventh player in program history to reach 90 career doubles victories on Saturday and then became the eighth Eagle to reach 80 career singles wins in program history on Sunday. Michelle SatterfieldWomen's Tennis Senior Michelle Satterfield helped the top-ranked Eagles to a 9-0 win over Sewanee University Friday afternoon in Emory's lone match of the week. Satterfield and sophomore Daniela Lopez earned an 8-6 decision at second doubles to push Emory's lead to 3-0. Satterfield then closed out the match with a come-from-behind 1-6, 7-6 (2), 14-12 victory at second singles. With the singles win, Satterfield moved into a tie for sixth place all-time in Emory history with 81 in her career. Read More

Bridget HardingWomen's Tennis Junior Bridget Harding helped lead the top-ranked Eagles over #2 Williams College in the team's lone dual match of the week last Monday. Harding, along with teammate Katarina Su, won the No.-1 doubles match 8-5 to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead. Harding then led off singles play with a straight sets, 6-2, 6-0, victory at first singles to extend the Emory lead to 3-1. The Eagles would go on to win the match 5-4 over the Ephs. Read More

Satterfield, along with teammate Daniela Lopez, won the lone doubles match for Emory in the match, earning a 6-4 victory at second doubles. She advanced to the finals with three straight two-set victories before knocking off Elon's Suzanne Zenoni in the finals, 6-3, 2-6, 7-5. Harding added a third-place finish in the top flight of the doubles competition with partner senior Katarina Su. The duo went 2-1 against Division I opponents including an 8-5 victory over Elon's Zenoni/Alex Koniaev in the third-place match. Read More
