Junior Rebekah Bondi paced the Eagles at the Samford Open with a pair times that stack up against the nation's best. In the 200m dash, Bondi set a new indoor PR with her 25.75 and in the 60m, she turned in a PR of 7.73 to finish 12th in the event.

For the season, Bondi now ranks 1st in the UAA and 9th nationally in the 60m at 7.73 while her converted time of 26.15 from 25.75 places her 4th among UAA leaders and 44th in Division III.

Bondi also took part in the long jump at Samford, finishing 16th at 5.23m.
