The NCAA Championships continued Friday evening with two Eagles representing the Emory track & field programs in the 800m Run.
On the second day of competition, juniors Dawit Dean and Libby Ranocha ran for the Eagles in the prelims of the 800m Run, however both athletes did not make the cut for Saturday's finals.
Dean finished 16th overall in the field of 22 runners with a time of 1:50.68 while Ranocha was 17th at 2:13.11. Both runners finished sixth in their respective heats.
Sophomore Dashiel Tao Harris was also slated to race in the 400m but elected to declare as a DNS as she'll gear up for tomorrow's 4x100m relay final.
The NCAA Outdoor Championships will conclude Saturday afternoon as the Eagles are set to compete for hardware in five different events. Senior Annika Urban is slated for the 1500m and 5000m double at 1:35pm and 4:25pm. Emory will have teams in both finals of the 4x100m relay at 12:55pm and 1:15pm, with sophomore Jackson Price rounded out the finale competitors in the 200m Dash at 3:40pm.
