Senior Sarah Maher helped the Emory Volleyball team to a 3-1 record at the UAA Round Robin II.

The 6-foot Maher saw action in all 15 sets over the four matches and averaged 2.60 kills and 3.60 digs per game.  In addition, she finished with a .303 attack percentage (39-9--99) as the Eagles closed out the weekend with an overall record of 21-4, 6-1 in conference play.

Maher opened the RR II with a 13-kills (second high on the team), 14-digs effort in a 3-1 triumph over No. 19 Carnegie Mellon.  On the final day of action, she hit .583 on the strength of seven kills with no errors in 12 swings, and also chipped in eight digs and three service aces in a 3-0 win over Brandeis.  Against No. 16 Washington University, she played a key role in the 3-1 win by recording her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 11 successful attack attempts and a season-high 24  digs. 

The No. 5-ranked Eagles return to action, Oct. 21-22 when they compete at the Wid Guisler Invitational on the campus of Juniata College.
