Emory Volleyball Well Represented On UAA 30th Anniversary Team

The Emory University volleyball was well represented on the recently announced University Athletic Association's 30th Anniversary Team.

The Eagles placed 14 members among the 57 honorees, the second-highest total in the conference.

The 30th Anniversary Team consists of each student-athlete who was named Most Valuable Player or accumulated five or more points in her career, with two points awarded for All-Association first-team recognition, and one point for second-team honors.

Seven players earned automatic spots by virtue of being named the league's MVP – LuLu Sewell (2002), Courtney Rose (2005), Janet Bunning (2007), Natalie Schonefeld (2009), Ameilia McCall (2010), Breanah Bourque (2012) and Jessica Holler (2016).

Sydney Miles (2012-15) – All-UAA First Team in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
Jessica McAlvany (2009-11) – All-UAA First Team in 2009 & 2010, 2nd Team in 2011
Alysse Meyer (2006-09) – All-UAA Second Team in 2006 & 2007, 1st Team in 2008 & 2009
Alicia Moore (1994-97) – All-UAA Second Team in 1995, 1st Team in 1996 & 1997
Monica Robbins (2001-04) – Second Team All-UAA in 2002, 1st Team in 2003 & 2004
Amy Shapiro (1996-99) – Second Team All-UAA in 1996, 1st Team in 1997, 1998, 1999
Megan Williams (1997-2000) – Second Team All-UAA in 1998, 1st Team in 1999 & 2000
