Senior libero Elyse Thompson helped the Emory volleyball team to a 3-1 record over a four-match stretch.

The defensive ace averaged a team-high 5.07 digs over 14 sets of play. She ranked as the Eagles' leader in that category in all four contests, with her match-high 23 in a 3-1 win over Case Western Reserve at the UAA Round Robin 3 representing her sixth outing of the campaign with 20 or more. In addition, Thompson doled out a club-best 12 service aces over the four contests including three in matches against CWRU and No. 3 Chicago. Thompson now claims 143 aces during her career, good for 15th place on the school's all-time chart.

So far this year, Thompson sets the pace on the team with an average of 4.56 digs per set, good for fifth in the conference, and her 0.59 per-set average in aces is the top mark in the UAA.
