Hong saw action in all of the squad's 18 sets and averaged a team-high 3.11 digs per game. In addition, she doled out a team-high 17 service aces and totaled 13 assists.

After posting a match-high six aces and chipping in 11 digs in a five-set win over Division II member West Georgia, Hong enjoyed a solid UAA Round Robin I with her performance helping limit the opposition to a combined .145 hitting percentage. One of her performances was a match high 19-dig, five-ace showing in a 3-2 win over Carnegie Mellon in the finale of the Round Robin 1. In the opener, she ranked second on the team with 15 digs and led all players with six aces in a five-set victory over Case Western Reserve.
