Freshman (2021):
Quickly cemented herself as one of the teams primary offensive options as the starting right side hitter for the majority of the season… Competed in 106 total sets over the course of 31 total matches… Was one of four Eagles to compete in all 31 matches… Finished second on the team in both kills (275) and kills per set (2.59)… Also finished second on the team in attacking percentage (.295) amongst all members of the team with over 100 total attacks… In the Eagles 3-0 victory over Christopher Newport (Oct. 22), Dawson had the best attacking percentage in a match with 12 or more kills on the season with a .529 (12-3—17)… In the Eagles narrow 3-2 victory over Case Western (Sep. 18), Dawson put up the second most kills (17) by an Eagle this season as she was integral to the Emory win… Had 11 kills on a .421 attacking percentage in the Eagles NCAA second round matchup with UT-Dallas… Had a season-high five blocks in a 3-0 victory against Covenant (Sep. 4) to go along with eight kills… Finished the season with 12 matches of ten or more kills.
