Junior Carly Wallace was named the Tournament MVP at the Emory Invitational as she helped spur the Eagles to an undefeated 3-0 record including a four-set win over No. 8 ranked Berry. Wallace led the team in kills in two of the three matches, including a massive 20 kill performance, an Eagles season-high, on an incredible .419 hitting percentage (20-2--43) against Berry. Wallace also protected the net with a previously unseen ferocity as she totaled nine blocks between the three matches including a team-high four against Oglethorpe. Her defensive prowess was also on display with 36 combined digs including 15 in the Berry match to give her the double-double with kills and digs.
