Kennedy Bryan
Title: Asst. Coach

2019 marks the second year that Kennedy Bryan has been a member of the Emory Volleyball Coaching staff.

A native of nearby Alpharetta, Bryan owns an extensive playing background, which includes professional overseas stints. As a collegian, she played at Virginia Tech from 2012 through 2015.  During her senior campaign she totaled 277 kills and 74 blocks, the third most for the Hokies in both categories.

After graduating from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in 2016, she went the pro route from the fall of 2016 through the spring of 2019. She signed her first contract with Golem Valley in Italy before being picked up by HiPass in South Korea.  During the spring of 2017, she competed for Everux Volley in France, before moving on to the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the Philippines where she helped that squad to the 2017 Grand Prix Championship and runner-up honors the following year.

She coached at Emory during the 2018 season before continuing her pro aspirations in the winter of that year when she ventured to Indonesia, and then to Greece in the spring of 2019. Kennedy continues to play professionally during the 2020-21 pro season.

Bryan is a 2012 graduate of Chattahoochee High School where she capped off her prep career as the state's all-time leader in kills per set.
