Trey Jones joined the Emory volleyball staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2021.

Jones has coached clinics, camps and classes for Volley Performance at the highly regarded A5 Volleyball Club.  He has been an assistant coach for the A5 17 and 16 teams, helping the 17 squad to a top-30 national ranking.  In addition, Trey served as an assistant and Co-Head Coach for TKVBC 15 Rise and 17 Phoenix, helping the former to a No. 23 national ranking as a first-year team.  Jones has also contributed as a volunteer assistant coach at Milton High School, helping that program to runner-up finish in the 2018 Georgia High School State Tournament.  He was a member of the Georgia State program from 2018 through 2020 as a student manager and practice player.

Jones played collegiately at both the University of Charleston and Erskine College.
