Senior Kaylee Slade was the top performer for the Emory women's cross country team at the UAA Championships.  The meet was held at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Somers, Wis. 

Slade paced the Emory contingent, crossing the finish line in the No. 8 overall position out of 79 runners with a personal-best 6k time of 22:31.  It represented the fifth straight race in as many outings this year that she ranked as the squad's top runner.  Slade's finish enabled her to land Second Team All-UAA honors.

The Eagles finished fifth at the Championships with 126 points.
