In her inaugural season with the team, Long emerged as an important contributor to the team… Competed in six total meets finishing in scoring position in three of them… Registered a 23:55 at the NCAA DIII Championships to finish in seventh place for the Eagles and in 268th overall… Recorded her season best time at the Converse Kickoff with a 23:29 that saw her finish in 20th place overall… Had a strong showing at the UAB Classic where she finished in fifth for the Eagles and 65th overall with a time of 23:34… Competing at the UAA Championships, Long finished seventh amongst the Eagles contingent posting a time of 24:55… Also competed in the 5k Louisville Sports Commission Classic (23:47) and the 5,760m Emory vs. Oglethorpe Dual Meet (23:26).

 

High School:
Captured a total of eight varsity letters in cross country and track and field while at Roseville Area High School ... Was coached by Mary Schifsky ... Two-time captain for both the cross country and track programs ... Clocked a 5:24 in the 1600 meters ... Top 5K time was a 19:24 ... Garnered all-conference honors all four years ... Sectional champion in 2018 and 2020 ... Academic All-State on three occasions.
