78 Eagles Named to UAA Fall All-Academic Team

Emory University placed 78 student-athletes on the University Athletic Association Fall All-Academic Team which was announced earlier this week by the league office. 571 student-athletes in total from the eight association schools were recognized on the All-Academic team.

FULL UAA RELEASE

To be named to the UAA Fall All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete at least one full year of college study at their current institution and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30.

The 3.30 GPA is the same academic standard used as a qualifying threshold by the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) for the nomination of Academic All-America candidates in all sports.

The 78 Eagles recognized were spread out over five sports that compete traditionally in the fall with men's soccer leading the way with 21 selections.

Men's Soccer: 21

Men's Cross Country: 17

Women's Soccer: 16

Women's Cross Country: 15

Volleyball: 9
