115 Student-Athletes Named to UAA All-Academic Team

Emory University has placed 115 student-athletes on the University Athletic Association Spring All-Academic Team which was announced on Thursday, May 4. 697 total student-athletes from the UAA were recognized with the honor.

To be named to the UAA Spring All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete at least one full year of college study and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30.

The 3.30 GPA is the same academic standard used as a qualifying threshold by the College Sports Communicators, previously the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), for the nomination of Academic All-America candidates in all sports.

The 115 Eagles recognized were spread out over eight sports that traditionally compete in the spring. Women's outdoor track and field lead the Eagles with 35 selections.
