Freshman (2008):
Johnson made four starts and eight appearances out of the bullpen for the Eagles during his freshman campaign, recording a 2-2 record with a 4.05 earned run average. In his eight relief appearances, Johnson allowed just one run in 8.2 innings pitched, good for a 1.04 earned run average. He earned his first career victory with five innings of two-run baseball during the Eagles' 8-5 win over DePauw University on March 26th. Johnson's 1.01 walks per game was the four-lowest single-season total in Emory history.
