Freshman (2011):
Gordon made 12 appearances out of the bullpen for Emory during his freshman season, not allowing an earned run in nine of his outings. He finished the year with a 2.38 ERA, while striking out seven and walking just four in 11.1 innings pitched and holding opponents to a .286 batting average. Gordon pitched two perfect innings at Berry College on April 16th, striking out a season-best two batters. Left-handed batters hit just .258 (8-for-31) against Gordon during the season, and allowed a .222 batting average (4-for-18) with the bases empty.

Played on the La Jolla Country Day School baseball team for four seasons... Had an ERA of 2.95 with 36 strikeouts in 52 innings during his senior year... Received his team's Most Improved Player Award in 2010... Coached by John Edman in high school... Also played soccer and ultimate frisbee.
