Aidan Conley Named to D3Baseball.com National Team of the Week

Emory University freshman Aidan Conley was honored Wednesday morning as he was named to the d3baseball.com National Team of the Week for his performance against Oglethorpe and Brandeis.

Conley becomes the sixth member of the baseball program to earn national recognition this season as he joins teammates Jacob Grossman, Jack Halloran, Blake Dincman, Bennett Speicher and Trevor McAndrews as Eagles to garner spots on the organization's Team of the Week. On Tuesday, Conley was named the University Athletic Association Hitter of the Week for the first time in his career.

During the final week of the season, Conley powered the Emory offense across five games as he went 8-for-16 with 10 RBI. He had at least one RBI in all four games of the Brandeis series including a career-best five runs batted in in game two of Saturday's doubleheader. He collected three doubles and one triple to raise his slugging percentage to .813 for the week and drew six walks and one hit-by-pitch to finish with a .652 on-base percentage. He also went 4-for-5 in stolen base attempts.

For the season, Conley was fourth on the team with a .343 average as he played in 34 games. He had 35 hits and collected 24 RBI.
