Sophomore Stefano Butti turned in a solid effort for the Emory golf team at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational.
Butti helped the No. 5-ranked Eagles to a fifth-place finish out of 29 teams by firing a 54-hole score of 215 (71-71-73), which tied for fifth place out of 150 players. Butti's effort tied the program's fourth-best mark for a 54-hole tournament. He fired one-under par rounds of 71 on the first two days of action before carding a 73 over the final 18 holes. Butti earned a spot on the Jekyll Island Invitational All-Tournament Team.
