Senior (2021-22):

There were few players in all of DIII basketball that were more impactful and important to their team’s success as Schner was for the Eagles in the 2021-22 season… Etched himself into the history books as he will finish in the top ten in an incredibly large number of single season and individual game records and established himself as one of the top men’s basketball players to touch the floor at Emory as he finishes at the top of nearly every career record book as well… Was one of two players (Stuck) to play in and start in each of the Eagles 26 games… Scored 611 points over the course of the season which is the most points in a single season in program history breaking an eight year old record… Averaged 23.5 points per game his senior season which also stands as the best mark for a single season in program history… His 23.5 points per game moves his career scoring average to 17.6 points per contest which stands as the third best mark by an Eagle… Set UAA records for points scored (347) and field goals made (140)...Hitting 39.4% on three pointers during the 2021-22 season, Schner’s career average on three pointer’s moved to a blistering 43.3% which is the best mark in program history… After averaging 38.0 minutes per game this season, a program record, Schner sits at an average of 33.6 minutes per game for his career which is the top mark for any Eagle… On top of his scoring prowess, Schner was also ferocious on the glass finishing with the seventh best single season rebounding average (8.7 per game) and the eighth most total rebounds in a season (225)… Schner’s career average of 7.7 rebounds per match sits second on Emory’s all-time list… Not just a volume scorer, Schner’s field goal percentage of 51.4% on the season brought his career field goal percentage to 53.7% which is the fifth best in program history… A facilitator as well with 94 assists his senior season, Schner finished ninth in assists per game (3.0) for his career and eleventh in total assists (240)… Finished the season in the top five of 20 different statistical categories in the UAA… Also tallied 52 made free throws, 36 steals and nine blocks over the course of the 2021-22 season… Was one of five players named to the D3Hoops.com All-America First Team making him the first ever Emory men’s or women’s player to earn first team honors from D3Hoops.com… One of 11 finalists for the 2022 Jostens Trophy which is given out to the most outstanding Division III men’s basketball player each season… Was named one of 25 finalists for the Bevo Francis Award which is given to the player who has the finest overall season in Small College Basketball (NCAA DII, DIII, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA)… Was named to the NABC All-American Second Team and All-District First Team making him just the third player in program history to be named an All-American by the NABC… Tabbed to the CoSIDA Academic All-American First Team… Earned the UAA Player of the Year Honor after earning Co-Player of the Year honors in 2020 as well as a spot on the All-UAA First Team for the third consecutive year… One of five players to earn a spot on the D3Hoops.com All-Region Team… Named to the 2021-22 UAA Winter All-Academic Team… Scored 20 or more points in 19 games, including 30 or more in five games, and led the team in scoring in 23 of 26 contests… Also played in 40 minutes or more in 13 games which is the most in program history… In the final game of his Emory career in the NCAA Second Round against Wabash (Mar. 5) he became the second player in program history to record a triple double (30 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists) and his final three pointer of the game, that brought Emory within one point with 17 seconds left, gave him the single season scoring record for the Eagles… In the Eagles conference clinching game against Case Western Reserve (Feb. 18), Schner scored a career-high 39 points, tied for the second most in a game by an Eagle, on 16-for-27 shooting which is tied for the most made field goals in program history… In an overtime thriller against Carnegie Mellon (Feb. 20) Schner had a double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds including the game winning pull up jumper with four seconds left to give the Eagles the one-point victory.

Junior (2019-20):

Game-high 20 points saw him knock down a season-high tying four three pointers and he added a season-high tying four steals in an 80-76 triumph over Rochester (Feb. 29) that helped clinch a share of the UAA title ... Huge effort in a 98-86 win at Carnegie Mellon (Feb. 21), registering his sixth double-double of the year with a game-high 27 points along with a game-high tying 10 rebounds – ended the game seven-of-13 from the field and 13-of-13 from the foul line, with his makes at the charity stripe the high-water mark by an Emory player during the year ... Tied for team scoring lead with 16 points and grabbed a game-high 11 boards in 99-81 win over NYU (Feb.14) – scored five points during a decisive 12-5 Eagle spurt that pushed them to a 19-point cushion in the second half ... Game-high 11 rebounds and chipped in three assists and a steal vs. Chicago (Feb. 7) ... Tallied 10 of his 15 points in the second half and finished six-of-eight from the floor, including three-of-four from beyond the arc, and led all players with a career-high 14 rebounds in an 80-67 verdict over Washington University (Feb. 2) – hit a couple of buckets during a 13-5 Emory run that pushed it to a 65-45 advantage with 11:30 left on the clock ... Double-double in 83-66 win at Chicago (Jan. 31) with 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds ... Efficient performance saw him net 10 points, going four-of-six from the floor, grab a game-high 12 rebounds, dish out three assists and record two steals in a 106-70 triumph vs. Case Western Reserve (Jan. 26) ... Totaled 11 second-half points, sinking all five of his field goal attempts, which helped Emory to a 41-21 scoring advantage, and ended with 17 points on seven-of-nine shooting performance, seven boards and five assists in a 91-72 outcome over Carnegie Mellon (Jan. 24) – scored five points during a 7-0 Emory spurt that morphed into a 17-6 run over the final 7:54 of the game ... Tied for team lead in both scoring (19 pts.) and rebounding (9 rebs.) at Brandeis, ending the contest eight-of-16 from the floor ... Tied for team scoring honors with 16 points, hitting five-of-nine field goal attempts, including three treys, vs. Guilford (Dec. 30) ... Led all players with a career-high tying 30 points and snatched a game-leading 12 boards in a 98-89 win at LaGrange (Dec. 4) – hit a season-high 12 field goals in 21 attempts and all four of his charity tosses --- scored nine of Emory’s final 11 points of the opening stanza ... 12 of his 17 points came via four-of-six three-point shooting and he chipped in seven rebounds and five assists in a 95-82 outcome over Maryville (Dec. 1) ... Tied for game scoring honors with 27 points (18 in second half), hitting 10-of-16 from the floor and all five free throw attempts, in a 124-112 win over Pfeiffer (Nov. 30) – Scored seven points during a 10-2 run that gave the Eagles a 107-99 edge with 7:30 left ... Tied for the club’s scoring lead with 19 points in an 84-60 triumph over Oglethorpe (Nov. 23) – knocked down a triple that a 9-3 spurt that pushed the Eagles to an insurmountable 64-47 lead with 6:30 left in the game – sank for triples in that affair and contributed eight rebounds and a squad-best five assists ... 21 points (15 in first half) was second on the team and he grabbed a team-high seven rebounds while doling out six assists in 99-85 win over Berry (Nov. 12) – sank all four of his three-point attempts against the Vikings ... Led all players with eight caroms and added 12 points and four assists in a season-opening 89-67 win vs. Guilford (Nov. 9).

Sophomore (2018-19):
First year in the program saw him emerge as a key contributor ... Played in all 26 Emory contests and drew 25 starting assignments ... Second on the team with an average of 28.7 minutes per game ...  First Team All-UAA ... Tossed in an average of 13.8 points per outing, fourth on the squad and 10^th on the league ladder ... 20 double-figure scoring games – scored in doubles in 11 of his last 12 contests ... Three games of 20 or more points ... Career-high 30 points in a 116-100 win over Carnegie Mellon (Jan. 20) saw him connect on 13 (tying 17^th highest individual game total in school history)-of 15 from the floor, including a perfect four-of-four from three-point range – scored 21 first-half points, hitting nine-of-10 from the floor along with all three of his triples, helping Emory to a 68-42 halftime lead ... Converted five of seven field goal opportunities and went three-for-four at the stripe in tying for second on the team with 15 points in the 92-82 UAA-clinching victory over Rochester (Feb. 23) ... Third and final double-double of the campaign came when he totaled 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds in an 89-74 decision vs. Carnegie Mellon (Feb. 17) ... Solid effort saw him post 16 points, successfully converting six field goals in eight opportunities, including two treys, in a 105-82 outcome over Wash U (Feb. 8) ... Tied for game honors with 17 points, hitting eight-of-11 field goals, and led all players with 10 rebounds in a 75-67 victory over NYU (Feb. 3) … Tied for game honors with eight rebounds and tied as Emory’s second-high scorer with 17 points in a 97-75 win vs. NYU (Jan. 27) – totaled eight points during a 15-5 Emory run over the final 5:35 of the first half that gave the Eagles a 45-27 margin at the break ... Team’s No. 2 scorer with 17 points (12 in the opening half), ending the game connecting on seven-of-11 from the floor, including three triples in five attempts, while pulling down seven points and dishing out four assists in a 95-66 victory over East Texas Baptist (Dec. 30) ... Tied for team-scoring honors with 16 points, knocking down six field goals in 10 attempts, including three-of-four from distance, and deadlocked for game honors with seven rebounds in a 92-59 victory vs. Brandeis (Jan. 25) ... Totaled 16 points on seven-of-12 field goal shooting and sank back-to-back triples in a 34-second span that keyed a 9-0 Eagle burst, giving them a 77-59 second-half cushion in an eventual 77-59 victory over Oswego State (Dec. 29) ... Tied with Matt Davet for the No. 2 spot on the club with 15 points, converting five field goals in seven attempts, including three-of-four from the foul line, vs. Randolph-Macon (Nov. 25) ...  Second on the squad with 15 points while pulling down a game-best 12 boards and tying for game honors with a personal-best six assists in a 91-74 decision over Case Western Reserve (Jan. 18) ... 13 points, tied for game honors with nine caroms and paced all players with five assists in the Eagles’ 96-93 overtime win vs. Maryville (Nov. 24) – tip-in gave Emory a 92-89 advantage with 41 seconds left in the extra session ... Dialed up 14 points during the first half of action and finished with 16 points and nine boards (second on the squad) in an 83-71 win at Case Western Reserve (Feb. 15) ... In UAA contests, he ranked second among league leaders in field goal percentage (.612, 79-of-129) and three-point percentage (. 525, 21-of-40) while placing sixth in rebounding (7.4 rpg) and 10th in scoring average (14.3 ppg).

High School:
Four-year member of the basketball program at Grandview Prep ... Served as team captain his senior season ... Was coached by Joe Dawson ... Averaged 22.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game as a senior en route to landing Class 2A First Team All-State honors ... 2016-17 First Team All-Palm Beach County after being named second team as a junior ... During his junior season he helped Grandview to a Class 2A state championship, finishing the year with a perfect 32-0 record, by tossing in 12.5 points and dishing out 6.5 assists per contest ... Grandview compiled a record of 58-3 with him as a starter ... Also played one year on the baseball team.
