Freshman Benjamin Pearce topped the team in scoring as Emory went 2-0 against regional foes Covenant and Maryville. Pearce went for a career-high 21 points on 6-for-7 shooting including 5-for-5 from beyond the arc to lead the team to a 34-point win over Covenant. He then paced the team with a 19-point effort while grabbing a season-high eight rebounds and doling out a team-best four assists in the comeback win on the road on Sunday.
